This thought has been chasing around inside my head.
As I kept tossing the idea around to start a blog, I would contemplate blog names. Kinda like when we were thinking about names for our kiddos, but different. I would think of one idea, then another and so on. Then I started googling some of my ideas and then began checking domain names. I soon realized if I had thought of it, so had someone else. Not surprising, really. I like to think I’m original, but most likely somebody, somewhere, has had a very similar idea.
And that’s ok. Because you know what?
My uniqueness needs to be recognized in how my Savior sees me. Because to Him, we are all original. Which is a really exciting thought!
So when I’m struggling with feeling like there’s “nothing new”, I ‘ll stop and remember just how original He made me!
Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.
