Finally, I am getting some pictures of milo harvest posted..
I don’t end up at the field as much when Matthew is cutting milo as I do when we are cutting wheat or cutting our irrigated circle. Cutting milo is just different. It usually involves cooler to colder weather and shorter days of cutting compared to harvesting our other grains.
Since I’m not at the field as often, I don’t end up with a lot of pictures. But, here are a few.
Our milo pretty much dried up this year. We just didn’t have much rain. But, we are far from starving and there were other areas of the country with even less rainfall than we’ve had.
I still want to post some more pictures from wheat drilling…I want to make a picture story of them and have not gotten it done. It will be is out of season, but, oh well. I still hope to post it!
And, yes, I like to take pictures of the combine! 😉
