Our weather springs back and forth, teasing and taunting. Cold and cold. Wind and a blow of snow.
Pivot.
Sunshine and seventy-five degrees. Loveliness and a nod toward spring.
Hard left and back to winter and cold and wind.
Hmmmm.
It must be March in Kansas.
Chit-Chat
Are you a Wordle-er?! I am and I love it. I like words and I like the simple challenge of pondering one five-letter word each day. A bit of a challenge. Not long. Not too hard. Not overwhelming. It fits me well. I’ve also played Quordle a bit too, but I don’t puzzle it through nearly as often.
Then, there’s Worldle. I’ve tried my brain skills a few times. Interesting, but quite a challenge for my limited geography skills and so far I’ve not accomplished it.
Delightful Incidentals
These coffee beans make me happy. Along with my espresso machine. My morning coffee often shows up on my gratitude list.
If you have an eye out for a new puzzle or two, I love these designs from Cavallini.
I ordered these rose gold ear buds a bit back, and so far, I really like them and they’ve worked well for me. I don’t use earbuds often, but the ease of these has increased my use.
Loving this new Poppy flexi! {All the hearts}
Lemon essential oil.…….one of my favorites and a household staple.
This video made me smile with delight. It looks like a lovely wintertime treat, whether you are a human or a capybara. Hot bath. Yummy treat.
The oranges stood out because Matthew and I drove to California in February and spent a weekend at the coast with old friends. They loaded us up with fresh citrus from trees in their yards. The oranges were scrumptious and delicious and I’m still making lemonade with Meyer lemons. What a great gift!
Looking for a gift for a friend or a beautiful vision of prayer for yourself? These wooden hands are unique and lovely. They remind me to live open, to bring my prayers and dreams to my Jesus, and to pause and still. They will hold a photo of your family or people you want to pray for, a quote, verse, or prayer card.
Three fun games we recently played ~ The Rank Game, PicWits, and Trigger.

Contemplating:
“Troy had just finished a tirade against the communists when Jayber stopped, looked at Troy, and said, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you.”
Troy replied, “Where did you get that crap?”
Jayber said, ‘Jesus Christ.’
And Troy said,’Oh.’
Jayber reflected, “It would have been a great moment in the history of Christianity, except that I did not love Troy.”
~ Wendell Berry, in the book Jayber Crow
He dwells in us!!!
in our fear, He is there.
in our helplessness, He dwells secure.
in our pain, He holds vigil.
in our dismay, He is not blindsided
in our shouting questions, He hears.
in all that is upended, He remains our rootedness.
in every surge, He neither panics nor sleeps.
in our displacement, He is our refuge.
in rejection, we find Him choosing us.
in face of darkness, His light shines.
in overpowering oppression, He has already conquered.
in mourning, in need, in humbleness, in searching for righteousness, in mercy, in persecution for living out righteousness, in peacemaking, in pure hearts, He brings blessing.
He is and was and is to come.
He is all these things and more.
This doesn’t mean our hearts and bodies don’t cry out against hurt and evil and all that should not be.
Suffering doesn’t disappear. Wrong doesn’t instantly become right.
Solutions for nuanced dilemmas don’t magically show themselves.
Injustice turn to equality.
Everything tied up with a tidy, beautiful bow. I have so many questions. So much that seems to make no sense.
Yet, He is making all things new.
He is working through you…and through me too.
He knows all that has been, all that will be, all that is today.
Each person made in His image. His promises for all.
His beckoning, amazing, life-changing grace and mercy available for us all.
He dwells in us and His name is Jesus.
