The countdown is on! Christmas is coming!
Christ HAS come! Marvelous, wonderful news.
My week held a lot of taking it easy, a lot of pom-pom fun, food delivered to us, some frustration with having to ask my people to do things and not able to just do it MYSELF, thankfulness all the same for willing hands and helpful hearts, fresh flowers, thoroughly enjoying Christmas decor, wrapping some gifts, Christmas with M’s family, snapping some pictures, reading some books, doctor’s appointment, and blog work.
I feel pretty good and the doctor said my incision looked perfect. No swelling. No redness. No bruising. I am still so very thankful. My surgery couldn’t have played out any better. I hoped and prayed it would all go very smoothly if God willed. God is good all the time. Even if things would not have gone smoothly, God is still good and is always our strength. I get frustrated with not just jumping up and doing my stuff, but these times are always GOOD reminders to me that I am not anything of myself. I can not rely on me. I am completely happy and thankful when I can have the strength and agility to do all the daily things. But even then I don’t want to forget that Christ is my all in all.
Nice weather days meant more outside stuff and work at the farm. A couple of colder days meant inside organizing project continued at an outbuilding on the farm.
Glory to God for this year and this new week!
May YOU and YOURS have a very, very blessed Christmas day!
Job 10:12
You gave me life and faithful love, and your care has guided my life.
I Timothy 1:12
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do His work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve Him.
