I did use a pom-pom maker and it is super-duper handy-dandy!!

I used Lions Brand yarn Hometown USA. It is super bulky. I think that is probably what gives the pom-poms their fluffy fullness. I ordered it from Walmart.com. I’m looking at my tan skein and the color on it says Los Angeles Tan.

I ordered my pom-pom maker from there as well and it was very inexpensive. It was a package of two and I’ve been using the smaller sized one.
