There are a lot of very good authors and teachers and speakers and I appreciate their work very much. Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore are two of my favorites!

I’ve not heard of the Enid Blyton series. I will have to check it out! So fun to find books everyone enjoys. We read The Penderwick’s last year and really enjoyed it.

Isn’t reading classics with your children wonderful? I haven’t read that one but my own kids and I have been savouring the Enid Blyton Famous Five series and we all love them. I keep noticing that Dh is hanging around when we read, too, so they truly do work for the entire family!

I have colored pencils from Prismacolor that I like really well. I tried my Prismacolor markers and liked the look, but it did bleed through. I have some Tombow markers and they worked without going through.

I highly recommend Fervent!

Yarn and color is just so much fun! I found tears pouring down my cheeks just a few pages into Fervent and nodding my head and feeling the fervency inside me to brandish my sword and pray and fight back against the enemy. He’s wreaked havoc for far too long.

How fun to share it with your daughter as a read-aloud! I always loved the mental pictures of those cute babies. 🙂 As a child, you rather miss the fact about how much work it is to take care of little people! 🙂 🙂
