In reply to Mrs. K. I love lots of pastry with my apple, but also lots of sauce! :) My husband likes to pour milk over his dumpling. I'd rather have my milk in a glass than on the dumpling.

Ohhh, apple dumplings. I told Mr. Steady the other day I was craving them. He doesn’t particularly care for them, I think the pastry to apple ratio is a little off for him because he loves apple pie. I might have to make some soon.

Great memories on the apple dumplings – a little sad too – time goes so fast and things change so much.
I don’t think I will miss stepping on the legos strewn all over my girls bedroom floor but I think I WILL miss these days of lego building someday in the not-so-distant future. Time marches on so quickly!
