I like taking pictures of hay. I think hay bales are so pretty. I’ll comment about how pretty a field is that is dotted with hay bales and my husband always says, “Looks like a lot of work.” I don’t have to pick them all up and line them up, so I just enjoy looking!

There is much to be said for the “good ole days”! 🙂 There are many things I appreciate about today, but I do miss some of the slower, safer things from another time.

My first reaction was to say no, I’ll admit. I was thinking of all the mess and picturing them coming back in after about 20 minutes! 🙂

I did have Tucker help wash up the blankets and sleeping bags. So, he got to learn a little more about laundry along with the adventure! They did have fun and I know the days are speeding by.

I feel like I probably say no to much too. It’s such a juggling act. Letting them be kids, but teaching them something and also learning they can’t always do everything, yet not just saying no out of my own selfishness. I certainly don’t have it figured out!!

I thought they were pretty cute myself! And they certainly made me think about things I enjoyed doing as a kid and thought were so exciting.

Sometimes it is good to list what all you have done. Especially when you feel like you aren’t accomplishing anything. There are lots of mundane things that take time, but somehow they don’t get counted when I’m thinking of what I’ve done for the day.
