Tucker downloaded an app that lets him create Stop Motion videos with his Legos. He’s been really, really having fun creating with it.
I’m quite happy he figured it out. He’d talked about it for a while and I’m thrilled to see him find something that combines his Legos and creating. He’s growing up and playing with Legos hasn’t been the same for him for a while now.
I’m almost finished listening to the Prince Warriors. I hadn’t for a while and then we were running some errands and I thought about it and put the next-to-last cd in again.
I also finally finished the e-book version of Bittersweet. I have such a love/dislike of e-books. I forget about them. I don’t read them as well as paper and print books. YET, I love having them on my phone when I’m away from home.
If you’re looking for a new project, you can find my pom-pom wreath here. It’s been hanging on the inside of my front door ever since I finished it. I thought I might take it down during the summer, but I really like it there and there it stayed! 🙂
Renae has been working on the True Woman 101 study. Such good studies! Still favorites of mine.
I’ve been working on learning some new blog stuff and online promoting for my Lilla Rose and possibly JIC. I’d love to grow them both online. My personality falls far from a salesperson type. That makes promoting products a struggle. Ugh. I love to share my Lilla Rose with people who love it, too or want to find out more about it, though. If you’re new, go here to my Meet Lilla Rose page. To find Jewelry in Candles, pop over here. {I do love these candles. 100% soy wax and made in the USA.}
I finished my leaf scarf! Yay! Find the free pattern here. Two more candy corn coasters and a couple of dish cloths. AND I did work on my cross stitch a little yesterday, though I don’t have any pictures of it. The black and white blanket is from Modern Burlap, should you be wondering. I love, love, love their store.
Life has felt a little draggy and discouraging recently. I dislike these kinds of days and times. I can’t quite put my finger on it, except when I open my pray-for-people prayer journal there are a LOT, a LOT of heavy needs and hurts right now happening to different people I love. We have questions and struggles and we’d-like-the-answers-sooner-than-later-thank-you-very-much!!! 🙂 It’s hard to make any sense of it all sometimes. Perhaps that’s the thing. There is no sense to it and it’s sin and Satan and my Jesus is saying, “Lean on me. I’ve told you this world is full of trouble, but TAKE HEART! I HAVE OVERCOME!! You already know the ending. My arm is mighty to save and I am King of Kings and Lord of Lords.”
Amen and Hallelujah!
KID PICK
Tucker has had his Uncle Rick audios out. Famous Frontiersmen is one of them. These are great audiobooks. Uncle Rick has a very homey and engaging way of reading.
I finished If. Really, really liked it.
And I am really, really liking this Parenting book by Paul David Tripp. It’s so good. I wish somehow when I read a book that inspires me, I could instantly live out the principles easily and effortlessly. That would be awesome! 🙂
We have a giveaway going on right now for a copy of Parenting. Go here to enter.
This giveaway for a flexi started yesterday. Go here to enter it.
Up to a little challenge? Take a few minutes and jot a thank-you note or have a happy day note to someone and drop it in the mail. If you want, let me know you did! Doing little things for others does help me when I’m feeling discouraged. Bringing a bit of bright to the world somewhere, brightens mine too!
Wishing YOU a very Happy day!

My son LOVES stop motion too. He makes them with a combination of his minecraft mini-figs as well as LEGO, it keeps him working for long stretches of time! I agree about books that are inspiring, I should automatically be able to put everything into practice as soon as I read the last page!
I love seeing the videos my son creates and asking how many pictures it took. 🙂
How fun that your son loves making the videos, too. It does take time, but it’s a cool thing.
