Seems like there’s always the very, very good parts and the not-so-really-great parts in every season of life!

It has been fun to have baby nieces again. And right now to have a few friends with cuddly, dear babies!

I’d love to sit and cuddle my newborns again. But the sleep-deprived haze I lived in I do not miss. Those two weeks of baby blues I had to deal with after each of them I do not miss. But the oh-so-soft baby cheeks and the sweet baby breath and the grunts and gurggles – I miss those. I think God mixed in the not-so-fun stuff so that it would be easier to move on as they grow older and change.
