It’s not unusual for something to be missing at our house.
But, the “something” that’s missing right now, is something we’re EXCITED about having missing!
This little man’s teeth have liked where they are and have wanted to stay there. He’s eight and a half and these are the first teeth he has lost. His teeth were starting to look too little for him!
We were definitely ready for him to start losing teeth. When he was around 3, he tripped and hit the edge of a couch with his front teeth. This caused one of them to slowly become dark. And, then, it just stayed there, looking really gray beside the rest of his teeth. Last year, at Christmas time, his five-year-old cousin became very fascinated with his “little gray tooth”. She even asked him if she could have it when it came out! What a treasure! 🙂
Funny thing is, as gray and dark as that little tooth looked in his mouth, now that it’s out, it really doesn’t look that different from the other top tooth. And we’re glad…glad they’re out!
Most of the time when something’s missing around here it causes a flurry of activity, a search, and sometimes anxiety. This time? Not at all!
This time?
Hurrah! There’s something missing at our house!
YAY! He looks so cute with those teeth missing:) And I doubt he’ll be without them as long as our littlest will!
Glad those teeth are out and fun to see pics of my best grandson! Missing him!
