Today we’re going to look at the She Reads Truth Bible. It’s a Christian Standard Bible.
I was excited to receive one to review and one to give away. UPDATE: Giveaway over, but you can still browse and get a feel for the SRT Bible. 🙂
It is a neat Bible and has several neat features. I like having a few Bibles and versions. I shared my Bible collection in my Bible Journaling post at the beginning of this week if you want to read it.
You’ll find the She Reads Truth website right here if it’s new to you and you want to check it out.
“Women in the Word of God every day” is their simple but significant mission.
I’m so grateful for how readily we have the Word of God available. It isn’t something I should take lightly, though I confess I too often do. I own several Bibles. I have Bible apps on my phone. I easily google verses. All this in my world. And in other parts of God’s globe, there are people who would love to have a few pages from the Bible or one book of it.
Yes. I am grateful.
Here’s a bit about some of the features in this Bible.
At the beginning of each book, they’ve chosen a key verse from that book and presented it in a beautiful artwork page.
There’s also space in the margins to do some journaling and notetaking if you want to.
Another detail I love about this Bible. It has two ribbon book markers. I have a thing for ribbon book markers. And I like how they made them yellow and gray like the colors of the She Reads Truth Book.
They’ve also incorporated some devotional pages throughout. They’re from a mix of various authors and are encouraging and inspiring. I like this because that’s something I really like about my favorite study Bible. It contains quotes, poems and short inspirational pieces in the margin of most of the pages.
One thing I wish they would’ve done with the devotionals was to include the author’s name on it. The authors are all listed in the back, but not on each devotional. It’s NOT a big deal! 🙂 I just like to know who wrote it. My study Bible includes the names with the quotes etc. so I suppose I’m used to that.
Beauty blesses me and I love how these verse pages are written in a variety of fonts and designs.
Each book of the Bible has its own custom reading plan broken into easy-to-read sections.
Don’t the Bible and the book look pretty together?
I have one of the gray hardcovers to give away. I like the pinstripes and the inside cover and page are striped too.
The Bible is also available in poppy linen, gray linen, navy leather and brown leather besides this gray hardcover. I think the poppy linen is so pretty!
Enter to win friends! I wish I could gift everyone.
A great big thank-you to B&H Publishing Group, an imprint of LifeWay Resources for sending me these Bibles to review and give one away.

I read the NIV version. And I read it on the iPad so I can make it large print. I like the Navy color on it.
Lori Smanski says
I would choose the brown leather. Not much of an orange person.
I do have a favorite bible. New American Standard Study Bible. My kids and my husband gave it to me 28 years ago.
Jenni Koval says
I’ve had my eye on the poppy one…my fave color. I like ESV the best.
Sue Hull says
I have a big KJV Bible my mom gave me about 10 yrs ago that I love. I’d love to have this beautiful Bible. I like all the colors. Thank you for the chance 😀

I think it’s so pretty!
Kristy Lynn Hanson says
My favorite Bible is my oldest Bible that my mom purchased for me when I was a tween, which was over twenty some years ago. It’s a genuine leather NKJV and in the back is a recording of births and deaths in our family so it’s my most sentimental Bible!
I would love to have the She Read Truth Bible for Bible study and I am in love with the poppy color!!!
deborah says
Your favorite Bible sounds very special.
The more I use the SRT Bible, the more I’m liking it.
Becky KIng says
I would choose the poppy linen. And if I don’t win I will put this on my Christmas list. 😀😀
deborah says
It would be a great Christmas list item!
Laura S says
Oh my goodness, I saw this Bible featured the other day and it looks so wonderful!! I love the Poppy color as well as the Brown leather. I love my ESV thinline right now since it is so easy to carry places yet still very readable!
deborah says
Yes! Sometimes it’s really nice to have a slim Bible that isn’t too big or heavy to carry easily.
The SRT Bible is a really neat Bible. I like the poppy too!
Mecan Payne says
Love the brown leather and the poppy linen options! I like different versions for different reasons! I tend to preach/teach (I’m a youth pastor!) from the NIV but I like to personal study from the ESV – I especially like my ESV journal Bible.
I would love to win this giveaway because:
A) I never win things
B) purchasing new things does not usually fit into our full time ministry budget (Hubs also works at my church)
C) I love SRT and all that their community stands for!
deborah says
I used to feel like I never won either, but as I kept entering giveaways I found that I do win every now and then! 🙂
I really have enjoyed doing some lettering and journaling in my Bible.
Mecan Payne says
I’m just now starting to practice/learn how to do calligraphy and lettering! Such a fun and creative way to interpret Scripture.
PS- I’m glad you win occasionally 🙂
Angela says
My favorite Bible is still the one I used as a teenager. Probably because it’s so marked up with notes and prayers and highlights of favorite verses. When I dive back into it, it reminds me of when God showed up in my life and how far He’s taken me to grow in my relationship with Him.
deborah says
Yes! So special! I love the reminders notes and verses bring. I keep a prayer journal and I am blessed by reading back through it and seeing the faithfulness of God.
Amy says
I am currently loving the ESV Bible translation. My favorite color of the SRT Bible is the Poppy!

I have a couple of different bibles too. I like to have a couple of different versions to be able to compare and get more out of the scripture. I am probably most use to my NIV version but appreciate each version.
I love what She Reads Truth has done with this version of the bible. It is very beautiful and draws you in wanting to pick it up and read it. I love the time lines and maps and devotions too. It really has so much to offer.
Thank you so much for an opportunity to win one! I am so excited to dig in.

This bible does look really good. My favourite bible to read is The Living Bible, just simply because it’s written in everyday English. I love the red colour, beautiful. I follow Joy Forney the missionary and she’s often talked about – She Reads Truth.
