I didn’t know Rosina blogged either. She just left a comment in the last couple of days. 🙂 But blogging is becoming a much more common thing than it was a few years ago!

Deborah, so I’ll confess I did a little “searching” to see if I could figure out what part of Kansas you’re from. You’ve been on my mind in relation to two of my siblings, one from near Laredo and the other from Medicine Lodge. Today I emailed my sister-in-law and told her to check out your blog because I thought y’all might become friends. (She gets lonely out there.)

And wouldn’t you know, they already know y’all! It’s Will and Rosina and company. Funny. Small world, huh?

Thank-you so much! I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures of harvest. I’ve been taking lots of pictures in the field ever since 2006. That was the year I got my first digital camera. I always enjoyed taking pictures anyway, but the digital age has made it so easy! Now I end up with too many! Haha!

I’ve grown to love my dirt road so much. I have a post about it here on my blog. If you search, Down a Dirt Road, I believe it will come up.

These pictures are the essence of Kansas–blue, blue sky; golden wheat; and some nice John Deeres! : ) I love the ones with the bit of dirt road. I miss those roads. I miss the wheat. They have corn here in Indiana, and the fields are so ugly most of the year. The wheat fields are beautiful at every stage.
