My daughter would agree with you! She always names our calves and doesn’t like to think about where the beef in our freezer comes from. On a little more positive note, there is a good span of time between going from cute little calves to beef. By the time they’re full grown they aren’t nearly as special to my kiddos. It does seem a little strange, I’m sure!

I do certainly appreciate having beef in our freezer! 🙂

So cute – but will you be eating these calves?? I’m all for eating beef but I’m not sure I could name them and then eat them!
