My daughter would agree with you! She always names our calves and doesn&#039;t like to think about where the beef in our freezer comes from. On a little more positive note, there is a good span of time between going from cute little calves to beef. By the time they&#039;re full grown they aren&#039;t nearly as special to my kiddos. It does seem a little strange, I&#039;m sure!
