In some ways I think it is harder to see my parents get older, than it is for my children to grow up. Yes, the days go too quickly, but ultimately we do want them to grow up. And it is so cool to watch them and know them at each stage!

With both kids in middle school now, I can see the end of their time at home looming in the not so distant future. However, if things didn’t change I would still have a couple of toddlers underfoot and would have missed out on the really cool people my kids are becoming!
